SPECIAL THANK YOU!!!!! Ms. Elsie would like to thank
all of the many people who helped with "Kids 'Kamp"
and "Kids' Kamp 'X'tra". We had a wonderful week of
learning how to live God's Way through our "Back To
Basics" Theme. Each night, we had great food
inspiring music, a wonderful lesson and lots of fun.
We collected $623.59 for our mission offering, which
will be used to provide Christmas gifts for 2 young
people at Grundy Mountain Mission School and provide
Christmas gifts for two young people locally. Also,
we have provided book bags and school supplies
to around 60 kids in the area, and we still have
more supplies to give out. If you know of a child
who needs help with their school supplies, please
contact me. We had dynamic leadership in Kim Rudy
and Jill Mowrey for Kid's Kamp, Brenda Smith for the
food, Debbie Wilfong, Patty Barnes and Darlene Jones
for decorations and crafts and the fifth grade
parents led by Julie Shingleton and Tamitha Wilkins
for the Mission Day to the Community with school
supplies and clothes. I would especially like to
than them for their leadership and hard work to make
this week the awesome time that it was know that I
deeply appreciate all of your work.
